Addressing Broussard’s Mental Health Needs
Mental health is a serious concern for many people in Broussard and throughout Lafayette Parish. According to data collected between 2020 and 2024, 50 per 100,000 residents are estimated to identify as trauma survivors. Trauma is a contributing factor for the development of many mental health conditions, but early treatment allows people to work through their experience and prevents them from causing deeper issues later in life.
